How to tell if LED module lamp beads are copper or iron?

Writer: LEKLEDLEKLED

You must notice that on some product specifications the supplier will write "Nastionstar copper" or "Mulinsen Iron".

What does the copper means?

It means that the lamp feet of the led lamp beads use a copper bracket or an iron bracket.

Iron brackets are more susceptible to oxidation, so product life is shorter. And the unit price of the iron bracket lamp beads is much cheaper than the unit price of the copper bracket.

So how to tell if LED module lamp beads are copper or iron? Here is a tip that you can tell within one second.

Put a few small magnets on the surface of the lamp. If there is magnetic force on the lamp surface, it is an iron bracket. We have prepared a video for better explanation as below.
